If you are travelling abroad here are the Top Ten Tips you need to make your trip easier

 

Make sure you have valid passport and visas of the country or countri
es you are visiting or transiting. Be aware that a visa does not guaran
tee entry. Make sure your passport has atleast six months validity.Cer
tain Passports have EMIGRATION CHEQUE REQUIRED (ECR) on their passport for certain countries. Make sure the passport you have is tempararily suspended from the government authorities for those journeys

Read the Consular information sheet ( and Public Announcements or Travel Warning if applicable) for the countries you plan to visit.

Check with health proffessional for information on recommended vaccination or other precautions and find out about overseas laws on travelling with medicines

Make copies pf your passport details ,insurance policy ,travellers cheques , visas and credit card number.Carry one copy in a separate place to the original and Leave one copy with same at home. This will facilitate replacement if it is lost or stolen.

 

Leave a copy of your itenary with family or friends at home so that you can be contacted in case of an emergency. Better be in regular contact
family and friends while travelling

Do not leave your Luggage unattended in public areas. Do not accept packages from strangers.

To avoid being a target of crime, try not to wear Conspiscious Clothing and excessive amount of money or unneccessary credit cards

In order to avoid violating Local laws ,deal only with othorised agents when you exchange money or purchase art or antiques.

Familarize yourself with Local laws and customs of the countries to which you are travelling. Remember, the Indian Constitution does not follow you! While in Foreign country you are subject to its Laws. Obey the law.
